2007 Wedding Trends

The knot recently came out with their wedding trends for 2007.

I was curious as to the trends out there, so I researched around the web and other items washed tips and trends for the new year. Some trends are the passage of the fall wedding season. Others are fresh and new.

Jewelry Bouquets: Weddings always include beautiful jewelry. Now those jewels that are added to the bouquets, too. Again, these details can be subtle, or get attention.

Friday night weddings: not only can you find good price for the Friday night (although probably not for long, because the trend is moving forward), but sets the tone for a weekend event.

A lot of couples are doing a weekend or a weeklong event outside their marriage. With friends and family who come from out of town, couples are planning events that come from the wedding, or continue the next day.

Cupcake trees / towers, depending on your style of wedding, these can range from small to beautiful on-top. With developed styles that some bakers are creating, they are no longer used because they are an alternative "cheaper."

Shades of Blue and Brown: a remnant of last year, the blues and coffee are still a great choice. And depending on the colors chosen, this color scheme can be used no matter what style of wedding you have planned. Look for colors such as turquoise, light blue, cornflower blue, denim, alice blue (a very pale, however, Surprisingly, shade) and robin egg blue paired with brown tinges medium brown, rough amber, sepia and chocolate.

Brown tones and pink: Another carryover is this modern but elegant color scheme. It goes back to the '80s, a style that has returned with an updated touch. Consider can salmon hues of coral, pink and puce paired with chocolate, raw amber, sepia or any shade of brown.

"Hits" Color: a strip of color in the wedding dress, a design element of the invitations. The choice of a bright color for your wedding need not mean that you have to hand out sunglasses to your guests. If you want to add a stroke of color, using color suggestions that you are considering in small ways (a ribbon tied around the bouquet handle as a table runner at the reception)

Jewel tones: a new trend for brides who want something that is not an extension is bold jewel tones like purple, red, gold and orange.

The color in wedding dresses: this trend is slowing making its way from Europe. Look to gain momentum. If you are not willing to put aside his dream of a white gown, consider a strip of color.

Back of dress details: deep-v backs, special embroidery and other details are attention to the back of the wedding dress.

Vienna Tables: (also known as dessert tables) various desserts ranging from cookies to truffles to chocolate fondue. traditional family desserts make a nice touch to the table as well.

Allow choosing bridesmaid: everyone knows someone (or ourselves) are stuck with a bridesmaid dress that never saw the light of day once quickly was shed for something more flattering, after (or before) we left the reception. Another trend, the extension is well choose a style and let the bridesmaids choose a color that matches your skin, or choose a color and / or length and let the bridesmaids choose the style.

Donations to charity instead of collection of matchbooks or boxes of chocolate, some couples are making donations in the names of the guests. In addition, some couples are asking for donations to charity instead of gifts.

Asking missions – in advance – what to play at the reception: a reason people do not dance at weddings? They are not interested in music. If it is your day, remind your guests, and incorporate what they like. After all, you want them to feel welcome.

Agenda of the cards: as a mini-tour of "" these cards that everyone knows when and what will take place since the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception. Also include any information about things that not all guests can understand (eg jumping the broom, or breaking glass, etc)

Wedding "logos": another trend from Europe to here, is to have a logo designed ranging in everything from the save-the-date cards to the napkins to the cake toppers (another trend to return) to the "Just Married" on the car.

Glamour and elegance need not be a matter of great to any of these … but expect to see flowers hanging off chandeliers, table designer clothes (Instead of standard white) with punches of color thrown by the napkins, candles, pillar or table runners. sentimental fabrics (such as leather and suede) are also making their way into the decor. subtle touches are added to fixed, table and seat.

Groom cake: a pillar in the marriage of the South, this trend headed north. Make sure you understand, however, before going to find one. Traditionally, chocolate, and boxed and given to guests as they leave. A nice touch is the incorporation of a hobby of the groom on the cake. Consider using it as a centerpiece on the dessert table, or the feature that at dinner test.

Square tables: one gives the room a modern feel clean.

League Waiver and Release class: who wants to be elected to this anyway?

In ending this list, I will say that no matter what the trends, choose according to what you like. Choose one or subtle ways to incorporate these trends – but only if you like them. Do not feel pressured to choose what they do not feel like you and fits your style. The success of your marriage not based on trends continue to be perfect, nor their wedding.
