Human ankle-Part 2
The arch is also partly maintained by a strong ligament in the foot called the spring ligament, which connects the scaphoid with the calcaneus. It supports the arch, resisting the tendency of separate bones under vertical loads, as stricter weight is placed on it. Because of its great strength in the spring ligament is particularly useful when we are doing very vigorous movements such as running or jumping, which otherwise might be too much for the muscle to sPlaying arc resist. Muscles work more continuously at a lower level, but between them and the spring ligament of the talus is maintained at the top the arch of the foot.
The ankle accessory movements, as all our other synovial joints. These are small inland delta and sliding movements that naturally occur in a normal joint during movement, but can not be done independently. Accessory movements are vital for the normal operation joints, and if it is limited or lost then the joint loses some of its functional capacity. As the weight passes at the foot of the forefoot and toes feet on the ground is forced into the talus to a lesser extent by the downward forces.
This rapid voltage foot slightly and helps elastic recoil as the weight begins to be lifted with the foot, added that extend the energy stored in the ligaments along the foot. As step by step which helps a little pulse of energy to make things easier, often referred to as perhaps a spring in our step. To manage challenges of rough surfaces of the foot to adapt to the different levels and angles, with much of this adaptation occurs at the subtalar joint below and between the talus and calcaneus.
The sideways movement of the subtalar joint to allow the heel to move toward inside and out while the talus is still held securely in the ankle mortise, with much more inward movement of the heel bone to out. There are several ways in which we walk, our posture of the foot, which can compromise the function of the foot and lead to painful foot. If your hips and feet are the result as walk this tends to make the outer edge of the foot hit the ground, which means that the foot has to roll inward to strike the same land.
This material into the inside of the foot tends to flatten the arch, which leads to a stretching of the sling of support provided by the tibialis anterior and posterior tibial tendons, allowing the talus to slide below its vertex position at the top of the arches of the foot. As the process continues the forces involved in the deployment to inside the arc are very strong, little by little to a foot abnormal acts much like a platform, much less like a spring loaded tool.
The foot is greater range of motion in a direction towards the interior to the outside, locked out by the previous post apparently if you try and spin fibula's foot that way. This makes it more likely, if subjected to lateral instability, which will quickly become the foot inward and cause a sprained ankle. Although flat the feet can be painful in many cases, can affect a whole series of joints above them from the ankle and knee to the hip and back. The lateral arch of the front foot, a minor arc compared with the longitudinal arch of the foot, you can also flatten and allow the excess weight to be borne by the head the second metatarsal.
The ankle sprain that may occur due to the tendency of the ankle to go over the foot inwards pointing ligament sprains on the outside of the foot. An important strain in this area always affects the subtalar and ankle and is often a weak point on what it means repeated strains can become a problem. The strain causes swelling in the local area, and it can thicken the scar over time, becoming particularly problematic if the ankle was held immobile for a time as this way the movement and stability is lost.
