I am a confirmed heel lover for about 15 years and like them for all the usual reasons, but for the past 1-1/2 years I have another reason. After breaking both legs, I have been in a full leg cast on and off for 12 months. My left leg, the one that was in the cast has a paralysis and I wear a heel to keep it from dragging on the ground as I walk on crutches. Or, I could wear a built-up orthopedic shoe.

its not exactly trashy, but some people might think it will be. if u like High Heels go for it!
